Yoga & Cultural Experience in Hoi An
(6-days, 5-nights)
21 - 26 may, 2025
Gift yourself this personalized yoga retreat, designed to help you slow down, settle the mind and gain momentum to ignite the adventurous spirit within you. Yoga classes are influenced by Hatha & Yin, a slow paced practice with lots of options for you to strengthen the body and explore movement in a way that is right for you, it allows time to indulge into the quality of stretches and observe the effects of movement on the body & mind.
To beat the heat, we will be practising Aqua Yoga, the buoyancy of water lessens strain on joints, offsets some of your body weight, and makes aqua yoga the ideal choice to strengthen the body and soothes stress.
There are plenty of moments to pause and find stillness, to shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being, to give the mind time to reflect & become less active and allow for the heart to be heard again.

About the Retreat Host and Teacher
Natalie - Owner and Founder of Nomad Yoga NI and Nomad Yoga Hoi An. Natalie is the founder of Nomad Yoga NI (Northern Ireland), which actually started in Vietnam as Nomad Yoga Hoi An, a yoga studio & school. Originally from Northern Ireland, Natalie lived in Vietnam for 15 years. In 2005 she arrived in Vietnam as a volunteer with Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO) initially for 2 years on their securing livelihoods' program, in Hue Tourism School, she fell in love with the country and ended up staying for 15 years! During most of the time she worked in 4 & 5 star resorts as a training manager & in spa management but at the end of 2014, she took a year out to study and went to Thailand, Nepal & India to study Massage, Yoga & Reiki. She also completed a nutrition diploma online.
In 2016 she came back to Hoi An and established Nomad Yoga Hoi An, which in a short space of time became a globally respected yoga studio and teacher training centre. As well as setting up Nomad Yoga Hoi An, she consulted for 5 star resorts by co-creating the detox retreat packages, teaching yoga and conducting lifestyle & wellness coaching sessions for the guests.
In March 2020, she went home to Northern Ireland for a much needed 3 week break with the kids to visit her mum, in the first week of her visit, the studio closed down due to Covid, the next week the UK went into it's first lockdown, and in the 3rd week Vietnam closed its borders.
Finding herself back in Portavogie for the first time in 23 years, she wondered what on earth she was going to do but Yoga has pathed the way for her again. Since then, she has taken on additional yoga studies so that she can make yoga more accessible and she’s been building up yoga communities and co-hosting retreats in and around the Ards Peninsula.
“I hope you will join me on this crazy Nomad journey of yoga, Nomadic because you never know where it may physically take you, and it’s also a nomadic journey inwards, calming down the noise in the head and leading you back to the heart, the core, your truth.” - Natalie
